Catoosa County Title I Information

Woodstation Elementary School

Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) provides financial assistance to state and local educational agencies to meet the needs of at-risk children. The goal of Title I is to provide instructional services and activities which support students in meeting the state's challenging performance standards. Woodstation Elementary participates in a Title l Schoolwide Program that provides all students at our school with supplemental resources such as additional teachers, technology, instructional materials, and a parent and family engagement program. It also provides opportunities for parents to be informed and involved in educational decisions that impact their student.

Title I Information

As a Title l school, Woodstation Elementary School receives additional funding through the federal Title l program. You can learn more about how we budget these funds by reviewing the Annual Meeting Presentation and the PAC Meeting presentation below. We are constantly seeking input about our Title l budget and would love to hear from you. You may give us your suggestions by filling out the Parent Input Card found below, or stop by the Family Resource Center and speak with our Family Engagement Coordinator. We want to hear from you!

Please click HERE or use the Parent and Family Engagement link found on the main page of the website to find out more about our Title l program and for more information about our Family Resource Center (Room 120). The Family Resource Center is always open during school hours. Please contact Jayne Black, Family Engagement Coordinator, for more information. Newsletters and additional documents are located under the File link on the Parent and Family Engagement page.
